Melisa Field is a founding partner of Rogness & Field, P.A. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). She has been named a “Rising Star” attorney each year since 2012 by Minnesota Law & Politics and Minneapolis-St.Paul Magazine, a distinction given to only 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40. Melisa has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since 2008. She especially enjoys family law cases that involve complex financial issues, such as non-marital claims, business interests, prenuptial agreements, and hidden assets. Melisa has substantial litigation and courtroom experience. However, she strives to avoid litigation by reaching practical and individualized solutions for her clients and their families outside of the courtroom whenever possible.
